ISO 10531:1992 — Packaging — Complete, filled transport packages — Stability testing of unit loads. Abstract

The tests are intended to assess the performance of completely formed unit loads as they are subjected to the hazards of (land) environmental exposure, storage, handling and transportation. Procedures cover pallet handling, clamp handling and push/pull handling, the examination of failure and tests performed as part of a sequence. The marine environment is explicitly excluded. Annex A of the standard describes lift-truck handling tests.
